SpaceTrek in Kentucky is held in the state-of-the-art Space Science Center on the campus of Morehead State University. Participants will reside in Craft Tower, home of the Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics.

Students interested in attending SpaceTrek must submit an application, a letter of recommendation from an educator or community leader, and a transcript showing completion of Algebra 1.

Scholarships are available!

• Dates: June 7-20, 2026
• Capacity: 24 
• Location: Space Science Center, Morehead State University 
• Residence: Craft Tower 
• Participant Fee: $1,000 (Scholarships available)

• Rising 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade OR rising freshmen attending Morehead State University or West Virginia University
• Completion of Algebra 1

• Application Opens: Sept. 15, 2025
• Application Deadline: March 15, 2026
• Acceptance Notification: March 20, 2026
• Acceptance RSVP: March 27, 2026
